A TRULY SUSTAINABLE GROW OP

Nix the shrink-wrap & sawdust.

Our mushrooms are grown locally, just on the edge of Cap Hill in beautiful Denver, Colorado. We sell where we grow and want to work with local restaurants and cafes. As an environmentally conscious company, we deliver locally and reduce the amount of waste typically produced by corporations who sell on a much larger scale. We also don't use sawdust, a substrate that larger companies use to grow their mushrooms in. In fact, more than half of our substrate consists of completely recycled coffee grounds

Really?

Yes. When coffee grounds are thrown away and end up in a landfill they create methane, a greenhouse gas. Methane is known to be more harmful than carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that causes global warming. By recycling used coffee grounds we not only eliminating waste, but we're also one step closer to eliminating greenhouse gas emissions!
