Look: the cap is scallop shaped and can grow as small as a dime to as large as a sand dollar. Color-wise, oyster mushrooms range from grey to white to brown, even yellow and blue. 

Taste: oysters have an anise-like smell, very sweet & mild. 

Contains: vitamin C, eight amino acids, vitamin B, & large amounts of protein
